6513FBrake Fluid Boiling Point Tester

Descriptions:

This is a smart brake fluid tester, which helps user to measure dry/ wet boiling points of the brake fluid. It uses computer to prevent dry burn of the brake fluid during the measurement. If the heating components is degenerated or damaged, user is able to replace the heating components with very simple procedure.

Features:

  • With CE & UKCA Approvals.
  • Use on oil type of DOT3, DOT4, DOT5.1
  • Power: 12V automotive battery
  • Testing current: 5 ~ 7A
  • Measurement range of brake fluid:≤320°C(≤608°F )
  • Working Environment: 0 ~ 50°C(32 ~ 122˚F )
  • Accuracy: ±(3% reading+3digits )

Specifications:

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Suggest battery voltage between 12-13V.
  2. Plug the battery, red clip to the positive, and black clip to the negative. The tester needs initialization, please do not put the tester probe into the brake fluid before power up the tester.
  3. Pull the testing probe into the brake fluid. Please make sure the brake fluid level is higher than “Minimal brake fluid volume position”. It will help reduce the chance of dry burnt and damaging the heating coil.
  4. Keep the testing probe perpendicular with brake fluid level during the test, press and hold the start button until the test finish (measured boiling temperature will appears on the LCD)..
  5. If “Wait Cool” appears on the LCD during another test, it means the testing probe is too hot for another test, please let it cool down before another test.
  6. If “Er3” appears on the LCD, it means the testing probe is not fully inserted into the brake fluid, or the brake fluid level is lower than the “Minimal brake fluid volume position”. Please adjust testing probe position and check brake fluid level before re-start the test.
  7. If it is difficult to check the brake fluid level, please use brake fluid pipet to drain brake fluid and test it with measuring cup.
   CAUTION:
  •  Ensure the power clips are securely fastened on the battery before testing.
  • Do not remove the testing probe out of brake fluid immediately after the test, please wait at least 3 seconds.
  • If the tester will not be used for a long time, use the probe to heat up water for 1 ~ 2 cycles before put back the cover.
  • Avoid swinging or colliding with the heating probe, especially after the heating test. Havey impact may cause deformation of heating coil, and damaging the probe.
  • Wait until the probe to cool down before another measurement if “Wait Cool” shows on LCD.
