This device is used to test the quality of brake fluid, which includes DOT3, DOT4, and DOT5.1 brake fluid. The tester will indicate the water containing by LED indication.

Specifications:

INSTRUCTIONS
Operations:
  • Take off the cap of the tester. Press the power button to switch on the power. The green LED shall light up when the power is on; if not, please change the battery.
  • Put the metal testing probe into the brake fluid fully, the LED will indicate the result within 1 second.
  • Press and hold power button for about 1 second to switch the category of the brake fluid.
  • The tester will automatically shut off after 20 seconds.
Indicators:
  • Green LED: Battery OK / Brake fluid has no water containing.
  • Yellow LED: Less than 1 % of water content in brake fluid. Low percentage of water. Check again within 6 months.
  • RED LED: Less than 2 % of water content in brake fluid. Please change the brake fluid.
