INSTRUCTIONS
METHOD I: Turn off the engine and connect the cigarette lighter plug into the cigarette lighter socket. Connect cigarette lighter plug with the power supply. Connect the power supply with backup power. Turn on the vehicle to the "ACC" position. Make sure two green color indicators light up. If red color indicator lights up, it means backup power has low battery power, please replace the battery of the backup power. Close the door and make sure all lights on the car have switched off. You can now replace the car battery.
METHOD II: Stop the engine and take off the key. Connect the power supply with the OBDII. If green color indicator lights up, processing step4. If green color indicator doesn't light up, it means bad connection or the power supply cannot locate the power circuits; please disconnect the power supply and try again. Connect the power supply with backup power. Make sure two green color indicators light up. If red color indicator lights up, it means backup power has low battery, please replace the battery of the backup power. Close the door and make sure all lights on the car have switched off. You can now replace the car battery.
